ENVIRONMENT POLICY

Environmental Policy

Keepshut London is committed to reducing the environmental impact of our activities while delivering fire door, compartmentation and passive fire protection services. This Environmental Policy outlines how we manage waste, reduce emissions and promote sustainable working practices.

Waste Management

Waste generated during our works is managed responsibly. Where fire doors, frames or associated materials are removed, we aim to segregate waste and dispose of it in line with relevant waste regulations. Reuse and recycling are prioritised where practical, and waste transfer documentation is retained where required.

Carbon Reduction Commitment

Keepshut London is committed to reducing carbon emissions associated with our operations. This includes reviewing working practices, reducing unnecessary travel and improving efficiency in how works are planned and delivered. Environmental considerations are taken into account when scheduling works and selecting suppliers.

Sustainable Materials and Sourcing

Where possible, materials are sourced from reputable suppliers that demonstrate responsible manufacturing and sustainability practices. Product performance, durability and compliance are key considerations to ensure long-term service life and reduced waste.

Vehicle Emissions Reduction

Vehicle emissions are managed through efficient route planning, regular vehicle maintenance and the use of fuel-efficient vehicles where possible. We continue to review opportunities to reduce emissions associated with travel to and from sites.

Environmental Responsibility

Environmental responsibility is shared across the company. Staff are encouraged to work in a way that minimises waste, reduces environmental impact and supports sustainable practices. This policy is reviewed regularly to ensure it remains effective and aligned with Client and public sector expectations.
