The project formed part of an ongoing fire safety strategy and involved over 400 fire doors across the estate, including new installations, planned maintenance, and compliance works.

The project was undertaken on behalf of chartered surveyors and focused on upgrading communal fire doors following a programme of luxury remodelling.

The scope of works includes planned fire door inspections, servicing and maintenance carried out in line with BS 8214 and current fire safety legislation.

The project required a highly controlled and collaborative approach to ensure fire door compliance while meeting strict local authority, Building Control and conservation standards.

Over 300 fire door remedial works and installations including both the flat doors and communal door across the 6 floors of the building.

The project involved the inspection, repair and upgrade of over 300–400 fire doors, including both FD30 and FD60 fire doors.
